ining with the Dead is an amazing, and frequently life-altering journey into the spirit world in the most elegant and unusual of places: at a luxurious dinner table. At your side in the chairs next to you, sit two of the most powerful Intuitive Mediums serving up mystery as well as gourmet meals: Sloan Bella and Margaret Wendt.
Chateaubriand with John Lennon?
A tart Chablis with Mark Twain?
A deeply personal message from your late father? Or a bawdy joke from your Aunt Ethel, who sends you a message she knows only you would understand? All are possible. That's Dining with the Dead, a gourmet event mixed with joy, amazement, poignance and a confirmation that the real world around you resides way beyond your physical senses. Conversation, food and fun with the other side.
A cool, funky exchange with those who have passed on, over drinks, dinner! Two amazing psychics, five fascinating dinner guests, and dozens of spirits joining together for an evening of secrets and surprises. The dinner menu is decided by the dead; everyone is served something different, as even the food itself brings each seeker a message. During dinner, Sloan and Margaret reveal secrets and share advice from the other side. The messages are funny, insightful, emotional and provocative. By dessert, everyone will have received information that will help them fulfill their destinies.
Margaret Wendt met her Canadian husband Ben when he saw her on a TV show. He decided right then and there that they were destined to be husband and wife. In fact, he believed they had already been married in other lifetimes. Having met on a Friday, they were married that Sunday. Together, they hosted sumptuous and mysterious dinner parties at their home, parties where those who had passed on were just as expressive and alive as the dinner guests. Ben, a strong believer in all things paranormal, was a loyal benefactor for the paranormal and generously funded research into the unknown. For example, he donated significant funds to the now-famous Duke University Paranormal Study.
Margaret, a lifelong intuitive sensitive, used her own innate psychic abilities during these special dinners. When Margaret and Ben invited several close friends over for dinner, she, Ben and a chef would formulate the meals based on the direction of a guest medium, a gifted spiritualist who would receive specific dinner requests from the other side. When Ben passed away, it left Margaret devastated and inconsolable, even though her belief in life after death had not wavered. One night Ben woke Margaret out of a deep sleep. He strongly urged her to write a television show, assuring her it would be a huge success. In her sleep she typed, "Dining with the Dead." Ben also instructed her to find the "Canadian Medium" who "looked like Barbara Eden." Margaret knew nobody who fit that description, so she asked around. One medium told her that she knew a Canadian woman named "Sloan Bella", and Margaret agreed to meet her. When they met, there was a karmic, electric instant "knowing" and the two of them became not only close friends, but business associates--and Dining With the Dead came to life.
Margaret Wendt:
Born with extraordinary intuitive sensitivities, Margaret has twenty-five years of award-winning television executive producer, writer and reporter experience for the likes of CBS, ABC, A&E, The History Channel, Discovery, UPN, The Learning Channel, The Travel Channel and National Geographic. Margaret's unique spiritual profiling skills have made her one of the world's most respected and trusted researchers and journalists dedicated to the world of the paranormal.
Her skills as a TV reporter and documentary producer give her a distinctive advantage in the investigation of the paranormal and supernatural. Her keen, discerning eye and open mind work together to separate fact from fiction. In addition to producing and creating her own shows for major networks and internet companies, Margaret is currently an executive consultant for a multi-billion dollar media consortium, working on a variety of high level television projects.
Sloan Bella:
A powerful psychic medium with her abilities blossoming in early childhood, Sloan has an uncanny ability to quickly connect and tap into energies around her. Sloan has spent her entire life as a psychic-medium: hearing, feeling and seeing images, voices and ideas from the other side, including receiving messages from those who have passed on from this frame of existence to another. An articulate, strongly gifted psychic medium, Sloan began her career on the streets of Toronto working with missing and exploited children. In the nineties, Sloan worked on the streets of Hollywood as a "Psychic Street Angel" to missing and homeless kids. Even after many extreme and difficult experiences with these troubled kids, Sloan maintains a mischievous sense of humor and interacts with even large audiences in an unusually intimate way. Sloan works right-on-the-spot; she never stages her readings--and what you see is what you get.
Sloan is no stranger to television, having appeared on Montel Williams, Inside Edition, Court TV, NBC...to name a few. The NBC series, The Other Side, follows Sloan through her days and nights, documenting her work with children of the streets. Sloan brings psychic phenomena mainstream with her down-to-earth personality and exciting style, even visually dismantling people's expectations of what a psychic medium "should" look like.
